Church Website System (CWS)
We have developed a website content management system specifically targeted at churches. There are four tiers, but they are very customizable (except the Lite version).
CWS Lite: This works well for small churches who do not need lots of features or future expandability. It also works well for churches who do not have members that are technically savvy, as it is nearly maintenance-free.
CWS Basic: This is great for starting churches on a tight budget that want the capability to add features later. It is more customized, and any features that are not included are available as options later.
CWS Plus: Good for medium sized churches with more member interaction. Includes more features for a discounted price.
CWS Full: Includes all available features for a very reasonable price. To develop a custom site of this complexity would normally cost you around $2500 and up. Because many churches will be taking advantage of this system, the cost is much less. Here is an example of a CWS Full website (note: some features may not yet be fully implemented on the client’s end).
Ongoing Expenses: Plan on spending about $40-60 per year on a domain name + web hosting (on our server). If you want your own hosting with full access to the panel it will run $100 or higher per year.
